Vasto did not write the article.

2 words - Project Scropio

I'm referring to your "Project Scorpio version seems to be getting the best performance.  "

We don't know the specifactions of the PC, which resolutions the PC and Scorpio were runnning, we don't know graphical details on both, we don't have frame-rate counter, but yet you still said what I quoted.

This is called baiting / trolling and you do that on purpose every time.

Not to mention PC games are usually being optimized until day one and after, where game ready drivers usually boost performance a lot, and it takes months to optimize for so many different configs...

We will find out soon enough.

I do belive that Project Scorpio will have the best performance in some games.

Do you understand the massive range of PC's you can buy/build? Because if you do that's a very strange belief.

A single GTX 1080 TI will outdo the Scorpio in any game, you could have 4 of them if you want.

Either the port is shitty which wouldn't surprise me cause this is ubisoft or the specs is questionable or the settings aren't the same.

But the most lulz worthy part is that the whole "it felt" which means that there was probably no fps counter and we all know how peoples "feelings" can be ever so missleading.

If it was an EA game or a Microsoft First Party game I would call BS because they would 100% be better on a high end rig but ubi, warner, activision, its not always great to buy games on a pc haha

They usually get patched but still. Either way I am excited to see how close the scorpio will get its significantly better then the 580, which is around the same speed as a 1060 and if its faster then those cards and you can see those cards running games like tekken 7 in 4k/30 with not much problems the potential for the scorpio to run AAA games is quite big.

And those 4k textures do look sexy on any display in reality.

Only 6 hours now! :D

Best among consoles, but a more powerful PC will always be better, unless a game is unoptimized mess on PC and can't be brute forced.

That is why I cant wait for those Digtal Foundry videos.

The title is obvious bait by OP. No one said it's running better than the PC version.

The article does imply that the Scorpio version "felt more consistent", so in fairness, with the thread title including a "?", it's not too far away from the script.

felt more consistant but without a number, could be consistantly 10fps :D

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Software is different from Hardware.

I am going to stick to my strange belief. We will find out soon enough.

lol, Xbox discussion here has devolved to the point that being excited about the idea of a good 4k Scorpio port is "baiting/trolling", and you can't even mention that it might run better than the PC version in the thread title, even though the article says it seemed to. Meanwhile we have a thread title calling Microsoft desperate and Nintendo cowardly on page one.

Anyways, given how much trouble the Pro has with consistency even hitting resolutions that aren't 4k, it would be nice to see one of the first AAA third party games running in native 4k with a consistent frame rate on Scorpio :) I doubt it happens though.

This literally means nothing...what's the frame rate? It's like telling a joke without the punch line.

Really glad I am not the only one noticing the one sided hate lol which is really really sad since I think all 3 consoles and companies are offering a completely different but in their way great experience.

And games running better on console has happened in the past, batman is a good excample and altough its generally the reason that the developer screwed up the pc version that shouldn't take away from the potential that AC could run much much better on scorpio then on any other console because it offers more memory and power then any other console

Yea well, I think Scorpio will be a really well thoughtout machine. You can tell by having the standardized supersampling and af that MS actually put some effort into this. I think it will, on paper, perform higher than a 1060 but not as good as a 1070 which is nothing to scoff at. I think that it will be able to do 4k native on majority of it's games if not all. The most interesting thing to see will be at what graphics settings but overall, it will certainly be a good machine when it comes out.

The only thing that some people need to do is keep their expectations in check cause the ps4 pro has been pretty underwhelming for me
