I would like to try out the Kingdom Hearts games sometime. How are they?

Fun. They can be a bit button-mashy, but if you can get into the story, there's a lot to enjoy there. With things consolidated so well, I suggest nabbing a PS4 to easily play through the entire series.

Actually, I have a PS4 Pro right now. I'll try them out sometime after the Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy (another game I would like to play).

So do we have a release date?

Nope

Happy to see they are indeed implementing Birth By Sleep's cooldown system for skills. But there is MP usage on top of that, which is odd.

This isn't skills cooldown. This is the forms system from BBS that was continued in 2.8 Fragmentary Passage. Those timers are until Second Form runs out, and when Firaza and Blizzaza become unusable. Use of one exhausts the other two.

Xbox logo doesn't fit after a KH video

It won't sell on Xbox either. It will be FF XV all over again.

Oh. I'm not sure how that works. If he uses Blizara in the image above, do all the timers disappear? Or does the timer reset? Perhaps that's what's going on, but is that the case here as well?

There are no other skills appearing alongside the Thundaza timer, and Sora doesn't appear to be in any Drive Mode, although the UI may simply not show it.

It's been a few months since I played 2.8, so my details may be a touch off, but: Forms aren't quite like Drive, although Drive was certainly their inspiration. Forms are basically styles that come with their own move sets and combos, built up in combat through use of specific skills and abilities. Thundaza for example likely appears because a casting of Thunder magic just happened. You can either use Thundaza to reset your combo, or keep building up combo to reveal next level forms and single use skills. Usually utilizing magic will help reveal element specific forms, so situation dependent, it may not be worth blowing a build up on a single strengthened magic spell. This system first appeared as a means of combo building in BBS and didn't return until 2.8.

I'm not sure exactly how they'll tweak it here, but it looks like it's basically the same as 2.8, so there probably won't be any surprises. It's still relatively classic KH, but adds some variants to the basic "X X X" no aim combo.

All these trailers, they could make a movie of of them.

Spoiler from the trailer (from the conversation  with Xemnas at at the end)

It seems that Sora is trying to bring back Roxas, but Xemnas tells him that he must use the power of darkness to do so.

Edit: nevermind

Still no Switch logo to be seen, I seriously don't understand SE's logic, Nintendo fans love KH, they know the series thanks to the DS/3DS games and KHIII would sell A LOT more on Switch than on Xbox (heck by the time it's out Switch could have already outsold X1 if Scorpio doesn't give sales a great boost )and I'm shure they could downgrade it easily since it's made with Unreal Engine 4...
