I believe Microsoft will support two consoles at a time and xbox scorpio will be the cheapest way to play PS5 and Xbox 2 when they release.

I don't think PS5 or Xbox 2 difference will be huge enough to make it where games can't run on it.

It will take time to transition over to the next console generation anyway.

So for at-least a year or two, the Xbox One/Playstation 4 will be the cheapest way to play next-gen titles. Scorpio and the Pro will remain as more premium/costly platforms.

PS5 CPU and Xbox 2 CPU won't be much better. Xbox scorpio CPU is by far the best CPU for consoles right now.

If the xb2/ps5's cpu still uses jag cpus. Then both MS and Sony need to go back to the drawing board because that would be stupid

Xbox scorpio can still run the games however. Just at a lower resoultion/textures.

Scorpio has a custom jaguar cpu, just like the xbox one and ps4. FAR from "the best cpu" for consoles, actually, we have mobile cpus better than that. Right now we have better architectures and 2 or 3 years from now we will have better stuff. so yeah, hopefully the next console generation is not going to be held back by the shitty cpus of this generation.
