Not surprised and I'm encouraged by the news. Shenmue 3 is not the type of game that should be rushed.

Remember that E3 that "sony won" with shenmue 3 and ffVII....

From right when the game was announced, I was not ever expecting a December 2017 release date.

hard when its a game which has been delayed for so many years to say: 1. give us millions of dollars. 2 this isnt coming out in many years. 

On the plus side, I didn't expect this game to come out EVER, even after the reveal. I still kinda doubt it...

As a backer I am not bothered at all. Given how long we've all waited, no problem letting them deliver a better game. My backlog is large enough as it is!
