Call of duty needs a break it oversaturated the market

Read dead is niche and you are comparing it to the behemoth that was GTA 5 that was on two generation consoles

Lets see how it pans out

Possibly, it definitely oversaturated the market with the same type of content.

I don't think this Red Dead will be as niche. Rockstar are only improving with each release, and if they are smart, this will be designed as more acessible title than previous entries. Given the engine, the timing and the marketing, I expect this to be the biggest Red Dead ever by a long shot.

Yeah, it is all conjecture, but reasonable I think.

Lets see i hope they will sell all great number

I will get cod and rdr 2 ultimatively because i love rdr and i need some ww2 goodness lets see

I'm not the most tech savvy but I'm still questioning is that even possible?  Is it not a hardware thing?

From what I gather there are a number of blu-ray drives that are actually capable of reading 4K blu-ray disks in terms of the hardware's physical capabilities. They just need to be programmed with the new reading process for 4K discs, and they should be able to do it.

That doesn't sound very costly to do so why didn't Sony include that in the first place?  I think the Pro's launch sale would've made a greater impact if they just had that from the start.

Oh well, if that's still the case then at least it'll be good to finally have 4K player than to not.

They will also commit commercial suicide. Generations end because sales start to slow down significantly. Not because the tech has moved on. A console selling 17 million units a year isn't ready for a succesor not even close. When the PS4 starts selling below the 12 million mark, that will be the time Sony announces the PS5.

None of these reasonable arguments will make people stop thinking that we will get a new PS and new XB in 2018. Anyway, time will tell.

Of course it won't but sometimes I like trying. The funniest thing is that people who actually think that figure MS is going to release the Scorpio a year before its succesor. Or announce a new console before Scorpio is released.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

1 out of 5 since its launch isn't great. That means 4 out of 5 new customers are overlooking it in favour of the standard ps4 or slim, I was one of them.

Come on, Sega did it with the 32X and it was a champ!

You mean that mushrooms cloud on top the Sega 32. While that certainly was a winner. Obviously the Sega Saturn also was a champion. So.I doubt MS is stupid enough to do that,  I can however see that the Scorpio will phase out the original Xone with the release of a way more powerful Scorpio 2. Which is also the successor to the Xone but still recieves cross support from MS. For a year or two after that the Scorpio 3 will be announced and so forth.

I'm not sure. It's possible the PS4 Pro doesn't have this blu-ray drive that allows them to do this, or maybe they're looking at unleashing it at E3 like they did the PS4 and HDR last year.

Those numbers seem ok to me and Im actually thinking of getting a 4k TV with a PRO this december, still not completely sure but im seriously considering it.

I would advise against it, specially knowing you are a south american like me.
But at least wait until E3, if God of War, or some other massive thing comes REALLY pushing it, it might be worth to consider it xP

Its not just the "4k" but also the fact that some games do get more stable framerates.

Which is exactly as expected, of course the Slim is the device with mass-market appeal. Most people don't have 4k tv's and prefer the cheaper price.

1 out of 5 is higher than I expected, Pro is serving it's purpose.
