In your opinion, sure. I enjoyed the PSone and Dreamcast more than the PS2. And I still play enough Sony games to have bought a PS3 and PS4. Sony just doesn't deliver on the first party franchises I enjoyed back then. Their replacements for those franchises just don't scratch the same itch.

Why look down upon people who happen to enjoy other Smash games? Why insist Nintendo ports their glitches?

1. It's funny you mention Splatoon, you were banned for that thread because it hasn't sold more than Halo 5, even only counting retail, but good example of a troll thread you made.

2. Even at the time my "35m" prediction was described as "not confident" and many many people predicted lower then that in the same thread, which is to be expected as it was January, just after that god awful presentation Nintendo did.

Western Games > Japanese Games

Western game devs are mostly just copypasting the same old mechanics into the same old genres. Not to mention Japenese critics have no input on aggregate review sites like metacritic.

I kinda agree. Some people are unable to properly balance pros and cons of certain characters, and they become such massive catalysts of virtue you'd wonder why they struggle within their games in the first place, or purposedly ignore entries where the character is in a weaker state because it doesn't benefit the argument.

A lot of these mechanics are really good and in my experience they work well in different games. Every time I play a western games with similar mechanics I still feel as if each game offers something different.
