But that's exactly the point, this doesn't help anyone.

The Cavs want a slow game. These long breaks help the Cavs in that the Warriors just cant go up tempo when they want. They have to build into it, and with these breaks, they've just never got going.

But no team wants constant breaks.  Especially not stressful ones. And the Warriors have had some good opportunities but have not capitalized either cause of defense or missing good looks.

Just to double check, do you mean review breaks or fast breaks? I dont want to misspeak on what you said.

Review breaks.

This is one of the worst basketball games I have ever seen

It's disgusting. Adam Silver needs to do something about this. Thankfully, we probably won't need to be stuck with Cleveland's garbage refs again

WOW what a block by Durant

Assuming the Cavs don't experience the worst chokedown in history, then that means they managed to avoid a sweep.

Thank god this game is almost over. What a mess

Can you think of any game where the quality of play and quality of officiating have been this out of sync?  There's been a lot of great play, especially from the Cavs, but the Refs have been all over the place.

If Durant wasn't on these Warriors, I wouldn't be shocked if the Cavs swept them. Where is even the effort from everyone that isn't Durant? He looks like the only Warrior who wants it here with a championship on the line

Ok, just needed to double check, now I'll present my thesis. Witnessing the Warriors myself, they want to run you to death. It doesn't necessarily matter who's in foul trouble, because they have 3 all stars if they lose one. All these lengthy breaks have served as not only free timeouts for the Cavs so they get extra time to rest, but it also serves as a pacebreaker for the Warriors who want play to continue constantly and run run RUN. That's how the Warriors are built, and since the Cavs rely on ISO play, a technique that is normally slower as compared to the Warriors, these breaks in a way have actually sort of helped them.

Curry and Thompson have been off, but I'm coming to a realization after witnessing play similarly to the Wolves. In that game there was constant fouls that served as pacebreakers, and since Curry and Thompson play well in transition, these breaks inherently throw off their game.
