If they believe in it they don't support it selectively. That's a strange statement to make.

Oh I always wanted Carnival Games 3! For some odd reason they never continued the series after the Wii.

But in all honesty. Do you really expect any real effort. The Switch could sell 200 million and they will still give it tepid support. I am surprised 2k is on the system . I think Nintendo asked for that or something. Take-Two wouldn't make that decision on their own.

So they haven't started any new projects and are waiting for it to have an installed base. What kind of installed base are they waiting for? Will they begin development when it reaches 20 million sales? 30 million? 40 million?

Suppose it sells 45 million by 2020. I'm sure then they will say "if we started development now, our game wouldn't be finished until 2023, at which point we anticipate the Switch will no longer be a viable platform."

Selected games?

Pls be excited for Carnival Games and Table Tennis on Niintendo Switch.


Being serious, I think they should port GTA5 to the Switch, that game sells greatly in any platform it touches (like Minecraft). It runs on PS3 and 360, so the Switch's power wouldn't be a problem.

But most probably they'll just do some half-assed late ports of sports games that will flop and then they'll use that as an excuse to abandon the platform. It's same same endless cycle when it comes to Nintendo and western third-party companies.
