Nintendo understands fan service. Just a couple hours and their plan is already working .

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

I'm still not convinced. It just doesn't have the hook Splatoon originally had. Maybe it's because the Switch is filling to the brim with fighting games, ARMS is a tougher sell than normal.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

As someone who was able to demo the game, I already know for a fact that it will be super fun.

Unsure if I'll get it day one, mainly cause money is tight for me atm.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Money troubles. The bane of my existence due to which I had to and will miss out on many games I am sure I would love

I will try the demo, but I am still not sold on it. Splatoon2 releases one month later, let's see how many people will still care for it after more games release.

After the Direct, we had a lot of new information be shared. We also know we have a decent amount of characters.

What are your thoughts on the game now?

They're trying to be the next Splatoon so damn hard, lol, copying the launch model and marketing to an inch...

The game itself looks pretty good, though.

I love your Signature hehe

Went from thinking the game is motion gimmick trash up it's initial reveal to being hyped as hell for it! Unfortunately I might not be able to get it day 1 since I'll be buying it from Amazon to use up a giftcard.

They're being pretty darn smart with how they're presenting the game. Not only are they taking a lot of cues from Splatoon for how they're adding free content periodically post-launch, but their sneaky tactic of adding a big Splatoon 2 trailer to the end of an ARMS-centric feature TWICE is devilishly clever. Want to see more information about Splatoon 2 as soon as it's shown? Well, you'll have to watch an entire ARMS direct first. I imagine it's particularly effective in Japan.

I have not seen the Direct. The game has bored me enough already. I don't get the hype at all.
