Clearly Nintendo likes the Splatoon approach and will probably take to using it for new I.P's
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
Nintendo really learned a lot from Splatoon:
Innovative and quirky new IP, online multiplayer focus, test demo events in the month leading up to the launch and a substantial amount of free DLC. Splatoon and Arms are the new Nintendo.

And starting on the same day as a new Switch stock shipment hits, if Gamestop's preorder arrival dates are to be believed. Very clever.

short, to the punch, no bs.. perhaps they've stopped with the shrooms? it's working
Well, it was beyond obvious that they were going to take the Splatoon Marketing route
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

In other words I definitely need to get a Switch asap. ARMS has certainly caught my interest, especially after seeing the volleyball mode and Twintails (or whatever her name was). There aren't that many fighters (though more will be announced after the release Splatoon-style) but they're all unique and with different arms and elements there won't be a lack of variety.

They played that direct like a well tuned fiddle. They hit all the right notes and I'm hyped for ARMS. TwinTelle...man.
