Still hasn't stopped me from going to the cinema to watch the previous Pirate films. Doubt this is going to stop me from seeing the new one either.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
What kind of threat is that? Who watchs movies in little bits? They haven't ransomed big cinema screens either so...
best thing is to ignore them and hunt down the released parts.
Dunno what these "hackers" are thinking. Trying to get themselves locked up.

No, thats an interesting idea though. However movies still make a killing at the box office, people still go to the theater and that tradition has transcended all generations still. The best way to see a film is at the theater and thats how they want you to first experience it.
