I own the NES original on the Virtual Console, it's a fantastic game and I'll probably be buying it on Switch when I get one. The little tweaks made to this version will finally allow me to finish it.

Signature goes here!

Currently running through it. After 2 fairly short play sessions, I'm at Area 6 now. My two main complaints are that it seems VERY easy in comparison to the original game, and the music is definitely not my thing. I was hoping for some kick ass Sunsoft music from days gone by. But regardless, it's still an excellent game and I'm enjoying it a lot.

Great game! It's like Mega Man with a Batmobile. Highly recommended.

Got both, good and bad ending. There is an additional stage in order to get the good ending. I like it that you have to play even further. The DLC characters and additional modes will also keep you on playing the game. People should really get the game.

Great game, really generous DLC. Highly recommended.

I think the music is fantastic, it defiantely feels like Sunsoft music to me. They were the best in business back in the day.

Other than that I do agree that the game is rather easy but still very enjoyable.

If you're interested in what it might be like there is now a demo for this available on the eshop so you can test it out for free.

It seems cool but between all the games I have so far (just jumped through a few hoops and got Disgaea 5 on mine) I'll be happy until midnight tonight when Minecraft launches.... can't fucking wait for that, going to be absolutely gone from the public eye for the next few months... or I might go to a cafe with my charger and a sleeping bag.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I think this is just something to be expected given how difficult games used to be. I read a few reviews that listed "difficulty" as a negative for the recent Dragon Boy game, and it's a cakewalk compared to the original.
