I agree, it's a simple pop song but it's certainly not bad. I like it a lot more than Bulgaria and Sweden, these songs are way too generic.

Yeah that's for sure. Bulgaria was great with the staging and his voice was perfect however to me feels really aseptic, I don't get any kind of real feelling with that performance, everything feels manufactured and too designed to win, not genuine at all.

However a Bulgarian victory is very possible, he is Russian and Russia is not on the contest this year, also the balkan countries are pretty weak this time, so he is gonna get the vote from:

- Bulgarian diaspora
- Russian diaspora
- Balkan countries
- Ex-sovietic countries

Let's hope the countries from the old Europe stop that victory because it would be a shame.

I hope geography/politics won't have too much influence on the votes. Most of the favorites are West European countries, so Portugal, Italy, Belgium and Sweden may have to share their votes with eachother.

It has happened.

For the first time in history Portugal is number 1 on the bets to win Eurovision

We always put garbage songs in there, people that have not a "career " in music, its always people that won a lame song contest here and we never see them again until there is the portuguese eurovision contest. Then they go the main event , fail always and we never see them again. This one didnt win his contest american idol portuguese version and was studying music outside the country for these past 6 years.

We have good music here, but they could care less about eurovision.

I know I actually admire portuguese music, but they are just bad with Eurovision, similar to Spain, great musical culture and horrible Eurovision entries.

Portugal has sent some good things though, I still love "Toas as ruas do amor" from Flor-de-Lis and I really like "A festa da vida" from Carlos Mendez, maybe your best entry ever until Salvador Sobral dethroned it.

It always has, is inevitable in a contest of this nature.

Gabbani sang Occidentali's Karma a lot better tonight than in his first performance at Eurovision, hopefully it'll help convince more people that he's one of the most deserving this year...

Italy's entry isn't that good, in my opinion. Not sure how that is so popular... also what am I watching? Croatian guy is er...

Hmm, pie.

Somehow, that's an understatement...

Hungarian one is bestest

this , it was soooo painful to watch, I understand it must be difficult to make good lyrics for a song not in your native language but still they could have made an effort not to repeat the same thing 9000000 times. Germany was equally bad because it reminded A LOT about Titanium from Sia and David Guetta.

On a positive note I apreciated the Croatian for singing in two different styles and languages and the Romanians for the Yodel because they made it both fun and good

I liked Ukraine, Italy, Croatia, Hungary and France (shouldn't have done the english part), but I suspect Bulgaria has the best chances to win.
