the article tries to note PC>CONSOLE

but reality is its because of blizard software that have popular pc games like WOW etc

if you look at general AAA releases like prey doom cod etc and all the rest of them theres no comparison

ps. is overwatch really that good

If you like Hero Shooters you can't go wrong with Overwatch.

It would be ten times as much without pirates. But that wouldn't matter because console sales would be 100 times higher if it wasn't for those damn emulators.

Did they conveniently miss out "blizzard" in the title on purpose?

It certainly makes it seem more interesting and impact-full, but when you realise the blizzard side of things is included it becomes completely expected. Though it's a nice way to push a "PC is bigger than console" rhetoric which that site seems like it'd be all over.

Anyone please explain me, why Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone have no console-versions yet?

Heroes of the Storm is understandable, after-all League/Dota aren't on console either, and that's likely due to gamepad not being a good fit for those games.

Hearthstone... I have no idea, it wouldn't take much at all to port it to consoles.

Heroes of the Storm would be useless with a controller, Hearthstone belongs in a genre that has no proven audience on consoles, but it's not like it would be a costly test to make a simple port anyway, so I agree that that one's a bit strange.

Overwatch and the loot boxes are big

WoW Legions is big

Heartstone is big

Heroes of the Stormis big

Really is it any wonder when all they have in the console space is a declining CoD and Destiny.

DSOgaming seem to have an agenda or at least love their clickbait titles.

They also reported "PS4 exclusive King of Fighter XIV is coming to Steam"

Not only for Activision but in overall profits PCGaming makes more profits now than any console (yes LOL and other f2p games help a lot with this).

I'd go as far as to say that over a third of PC revenue is generated by only five titles.

LoL, WoW, and Hearthstone alone should easily outpace the entire Xbox brand.

LOL, WOW, Hearthstone, Overwatch, DOTA2 and CSGO.

Also early access games like H1Z1 king of the kill and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds are making a lot of money.

Japanese triple A games like MGS V, Nier: automata or Bayonetta also did well recently. Occidental triple A like The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Civilization V or DOOM...

PC has more users than all consoles combined and it will just grow more and more so whether it's an online game or a single player triple A game you will certainly make money as long as you deliver a decent port and don't abuse with DLC or bullshit.
