Not much information yet, the most interesting thing I see is that Super Paper Mario outsells FFXII RW for the first time. Looks like it has legs!

good to see ps2 and psp titles among the top 4 .

Nowadays in Japan when Sony has 3 titles in the top 10 that's concidered a way above average week for them. It's nice to see PS2 games doing well there though.

That's two games jumping into the top 10 during their first week, and the previous week's number one droping to fourth place. Not bad at all, but far from an onslaught. Nintendo probably still has over 60% of this weeks software sales . I'm impressed with Ouendan 2 doing so well. Apparently the original was something of a niche title that sold more in imports to the West than in Japan, but the sequel is doing much better.

It should be no surprise that new titles are at the top, especially half way decent ones. How well they perform after 5, 10, 20... weeks really define success.

You do realize that nintendo has 7 of the top ten slots...?
