 How does MS buying advertising space the day the PS3 came out equal bias?  So when Mario Kart comes out in like... EGM and all the adds in the magazine are PS3 adds does that mean EGM is biased towards PS3?

No.  It means PS3 bought advertising.

I don't get your point Joel. Looking at gamerankings, they are more partial to PS3 games (71.6%) than they are towards XBOX 360 games (68.7%). In fact, 48.2% of their reviews for the PS3 are higher than the average, while only 44.9% of XBOX 360 games are higher than average. All this shows is that Microsoft bought advertising space the on their website the day the PS3 was released......which isn't a bad idea.

 It tells you dick, you're just interpreting meaning that isn't there. (About the reviews, not the background.)   That's the funny thing about averages, by definition half of all review scores will be below it, that's what makes it an average.  Not every PS3 game can be rated 100% by everybody because we don't all worship at the idol of the cell like you do.  

It's funny how you bring up examples such as Uncharted and R&C where they gave below average scores, but fail to mention other games like Resistance where they were spot on, or Warhawk or Heavenly Sword where they gave above average ratings.  That, my friend, is called cherry picking.

Also, for every high profile multiplatform release last year like CoD 4, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, etc... they gave the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions identical scores.  The only exception was The Orange Box which scored .5 higher for the 360.   Please do at least a little research before you come and try to spin your fanboy bias.

I reckon GS is baised to xbox. They seem to be more favourable to 360 games when it comes to reviews.

gamespot reviews games whether you agree with thier ratings or not , the kane and lynch debacle what ever. they make money off of advertising which mostly comes from reviewed games or consoles or handhelds if the industry is doing well ie 3 succesful console 360 ps3 wii they have more games to review and ads to sell!

they are happy nintendos ps3 and 360 and the pc games are good and systes are succesful! it helps ther business! If you think they are fanboys who want a single product to win like this site! Your nutzs.

You dont understand, the forums are all 360 fans, the reviews all favor the 360 recently, as well as low scores for playstation platforms, like god of war on the psp getting an 8.5, and Ratchet PS3 and Unhcharted PS3 getting a 7.5.

The e3 live coverage last year, the guy from gamespot was looking at uncharted with a face of dislike, and even said himself he will never buy the PS3 in that e3 coverage until its 100 bucks, and he is happy with the 360 the best gaming machine this gen for him(his exact words look it up at the e3 07 coverage).

Gamespot is baised, and they are 360 fan bots that is the truth and it will always remain the truth.
