Who is the worst modern day AAA videogame publisher?

Konami 142 25.96%

EA 208 38.03%

Activision 76 13.89%

Ubisoft 79 14.44%

Other (please specify) 42 7.68%

Total:547

I like those people voting for Bethesda like "yeah, screw that company that makes award winning games and GOTY material stuff".

I like the people that seem to have some form of objection to those who dislike bethesda and their practices

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I agree with you that they're dirty, but compared to other game publishers I'd say they're pretty average overall. Their wrongdoings pale in comparison to publishers like EA, Capcom, Konami, and Activision. Bethesda, Tecmo Koei, Namco Bandai, Ubisoft, etc. seem like saints in comparison to those 4.

If you want actual Satan, then look nof urther than Activision's bobby kotick, the guy who runs Acti yet doesn't care at all for video games in general, only that he makes more money.

I'm more fixated on bethesda after their years of releasing buggy games, their new rule on not allowing for reviews before release and to top it all off, the butchering of a studio and IP, just because said studio wanted to remain free. Also EA's Origin client is way better than Bethesdas, which still has miles yet to improve upon.

I don't really count them as saints, I'm not going to let one guy off the hook because the others are worse, that'd be like me giving Valve a free pass because Konami/Acti/EA did worse, yet Valve has also done bad to not give them a free pass.

Activision for the hatchet job they pulled on Destiny. Basically killed Bungie's reputation with that.

Worst AAA? In terms of practices, I'd give that to EA.

EA#1 then Ubisoft creeping up close at #2.

I think the same could be said about Nintendo.

Agree with you, and the others saying Bethesda. I swore I'd never buy a game with their name on it, even if the only published it. Broke down and bought the 2 Wolfenstein games for $20 each, and loved them. But yeah, Bethesda.

There are many things wrong with Nintendo, but buggy games aren't them. They can have bugs, but rarely if ever are they unplayable by glitch.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I thought most of the negatives are about their business. In terms of developer, they rarely (if ever) release a buggy or incomplete game. You'd have to look really hard for a glitch or bug at times. And most of their big games still retain the quality that has been expected over the years. From Pokémon to Fire Emblem to Mario to Zelda to Smash to Kart to Metroid (even though some believe Other M was mediocre) to Animal Crossing to new IPs like Splatoon and, hopefully, ARMs
