Would  be horrible  if a new) "hot" system  can't  outsell a almost  4 year old system in its first  year. 

I suspect  switch will get this year  easy against  ps4 and xbox . 

But then again  who knows big releases+ pricecut could  mean a lot.

Yeah, that depends on Switch stock issues and such as well. Once September rolls around and games like Destiny 2 and Red Dead and Mario Odyssey start coming out, there is going to be a big boost in sales for all systems, meaning that Switch could be outsold in those months on stock issues alone. It will be interesting to see, but I'm still very bullish on the Switch. 

I was worried about the stock. PS4 + Slim + Pro > Switch.

If Switch doesn't outsell the ps4 in one of its worst months (April and May are generally really slow) that would mean awful things for the stock situation. PS4 generally does around 200k in its good May showings, so the Switch would have to be even more understocked than it was in April. 

Exactly: until the Switch is readily available, we have to work with the data we have available.

It's unlikely that the PS4 is any closer than it was in April. Don't look at just the top-selling SKU:
