Turns out if you make a good game, people will buy it.

I wish that were the case. RE5 still miles ahead, and it seems RE7 will never reach it.

As it should be!

Pathetic sales for Dead Rising 4.

4 months and less than 1 million copies sold? Even including digital?!

Only 35,000 owners on Steam after 6 weeks since Steam version launch.

Dead Rising 4 and Rise of The Tomb Raider should teach devs to NEVER make timed exclusives for Xbox.

It's not just timed exclusives having a hard time on XBO.

Quantum Break is at 680k.

Halo Wars 2 is at 210k.

The massive titles (Gears, Forza, Mainline Halo) do well, the lesser titles seem to fall by the wayside completely on Xbox. It would seem most fans are there for Microsofts Core Blockbuster titles, and everything else falls by the wayside.

Meanwhile Niche exclusives on ps4 like Persona 5 or Nioh ship over a million units in there first couple of weeks.

Capcom expects to sell two million copies of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Capcom plans to launch a “major title” before March 31, 2018, Capcom listed in its strategies and plans overview for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018.

It is unknown whether it is an announced title—such as the long-dormant Deep Down or the Resident Evil 2 Remake—or something completely new.

The company also said it expects to sell two million copies of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, which launches September 19, and two million more copies of Resident Evil 7: biohazard, which launched on January 24, by March 31, 2018.

Interestingly, Capcom expects to ship 2 million copies of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, and 2 more million of Resident Evil 7 biohazard by March 31st, 2018, which would bring the total for Resident Evil 7 to 5.5 million, including the past fiscal year results announced yesterday.

As you can see in the table below, the unknown “major title” teased by the company doesn’t have specific platforms or a release window just yet.
