 I do not think sequalswhich are already available on the sytsem will help much.  I think MS needs to expand it's market.  They should give up on JPN sinceeven after a great game (LO) it is still dead.  They need to tap the casual market.

And I'm beginning to think that the real reason Sony took out BC is so that they could re-sell all the PS2 games through PSN without having to compete with all the discs everyone already has. ;>

 Yea i could see that being the case,  it was a shame that they made the decision to remove BC.

The 360 looks to be having a strong 2008.

LBP and MGS4, while they both look good, and I'm looking foreward to them; thre reason they've been so hype for the last two years is largely because sony had so little to offer. Microsoft have been able to spend their time hyping games that were out in the next month.

GTAIV is the biggest game of the year, and the 360 has the bonus content (of admitedly unknown quality).
