Sorry, I confess sometimes I just skim text.

YES! Coming West! Cannot wait!

Thanks very much for the info :)

It was already playable in English, so I didn't wait for it to come West.  Downloaded it from the Japan eshop last week.

And, I agree with Xxain's review.  It's a nice retro-inspired action/puzzle game with levels that are well-suited for the Switch's portability.  I've been playing it in the park while walking my dog in the afternoons.  At $5, it's got more going for it than against it.  I recommend it as well.

Yeah, I understand I could download it from the Japanese eshop but I don't wanna have to juggle accounts or whatever it takes.

No juggling involved. Your just using the Japanese account to acess Japan eshop. Every time you play or access eshop, it prompts you to choose a account and with a simple click you are in your regions eShop or Japan's. Its seemless.

Do funds transfer?

I suspect they don't meaning I'll have to buy codes from Japan's Amazon... I think I have a Japanese Amazon account but I don't know... I feel like I'm gonna wait.

Thanks for the info regardless.

Hell yeeaaaah~!!!

I didn't want to mention this, but I could never buy it off the Japanese store. Too much annoying hassle to get an Eshop card. Fortunately, I can get it legit on the 27th! So exciteeeed!!!!

No, they don't transfer.  I bought a Japan eshop card from PlayAsia & they e-mailed me the code instantly.  Creating an alternate region account on Swtich takes seconds, and you only have to use it for the eshop.  Once the game is downloaded, it's playable in your main account.

For something like Kamiko, it's not a big deal to wait just a few weeks for it to come out in your region.  But, for other games like Nobunaga's Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms which might not get Western releases at all, it's a wonderful option.

Yeah, I don't want to bother with the hassle either. Great to hear it coming to the West.

Indeed. Japanese publishers should work to release all they have in as many regions as possible though. Within reason...

Agreed.  In Nintendo's case, I'd be offering 3rd parties to pay for the translations just to get more games on their sytem in the West.  It was especially criminal in the case of the Wii U to have Japan only games that could have helped bolster the systems software library in the West.
