It's actually pretty easy to find a Switch where I'm located.

Hmm...so you're a bald dood that is an undercover Gamestop employee on Vgchartz! The plot thickens... |
That's "dude." I'm not a Prinny.

Yeah, they haven't shoved any crap in the bundle to force you to pay for it. But still, if you ordered all the items seperately from amazon.com it'd cost you $460 (if they had stock)... so they are over-charging because of low-stock. Bundles usually save money, not cost substantially more.
Well, it's certainly better than the other bundle they offered.

It's only online, right?
Also, just checked in Amazon and the "real" price for everything it's about 460 dollars. It's not tempting at all.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

This one's still too much. It's like they're asking us to pay $150 USD for a small block of cheese shaped like Mario's head. |
I suppose it's only for the most desperate of people.

I would have gotten this if I didn't already have one; it's not a deal, but it's a convenient bundle for sure.
You know, everyone is freaking out but it isn't a bad bundle. It's not a deal but it also isn't a rip off, it's just packaging stuff together. I know this probably isn't their intent, but this is actually a nice anti-scalper tactic. Since any would-be scalpers are faced with a 500 price tag but the only thing they could reliably sell at a higher price than MSRP is the console and since the bundle is just a combination of MSRP and some of the things would be impossible to sell at close to MSRP if at all (the Micro SD and Expansion Pass for example), making a quick and filthy buck off this bundle would be very difficult.
But aside from that Gamestop is just making the assumption most buyers will want MK8 and Zelda which let's face it, they aren't wrong.
Not a terrible bundle, $300 + $120 for the games and $40(?) for SD card with season pass
Still completely not worth it though :p

Check your math. $300 Switch + 2x $60 games + $20 expansion pass + $45 (minimum) SD card = 485. And I've seen some variance up and down on that exact SD card. It's not a dead on price but it is pretty close.
