Stunning numbers for Switch, Nintendo can´t keep stock at this pace.
I think Nintendo did the right move considering the wiiu. If the switch didn't sell as well as it did and it was another wiiu situation, they would be losing money. But now that the switch is indeed successful so far, they can ramp up stock

Now after seeing the demand, 2 million for it's first month wasn't enough, though since launching in March, I thought it would of been. Hopefully Nintendo can at least keep up with most of the Switch's demand over the next few months and especially this holiday.
Stock will be an issue for the first few months, but I think it will be fine aftewards, unless they are purposely doing it, which would just hurt them in the long run

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Who cares, really? If it's going to be a hit then it's going to be strong beyond launch. Unless we're talking about people who just want one because it's hard to get right now, most of those who want to buy it will still want it whenever it become readily available.

They didn't want to take risks. Also, this won't affect lifetime sales (since everyone who can't buy it now will get it when it's back in stock), so it isn't a big issue.
