Forums - Gaming - Platinum says they'd port 'all their games' to PC

Then you dont know how business deals work.

Bayo 2 coming to any other platform is solely up to Nintendo, 100%. If I fund something entirely on my own then I will own it and bring it to whatever platform I want. Unless PG or Sega buys back the rights or make a deal like giving Nintendo 80% revenue of the PC port then no amount of begging Sega or PG will help.

Time will tell.

Also I'm still not seeing the contract details. All I'm hearing is "def 100% not coming" and nothing more. The rights to Bayo are with Sega, not just 1.

Also begging, really?.

Have you seen the contract details for SFV, if so show them, if not why are you asking for Bayo?

The IP belongs to Sega, but Nintendo has the rights to Bayo 2. We would've gotten the game on other consoles a long time if they didn't.

port pegging is never cool

Nintendo says ... nope.

I like how you're asking me for SFV deets when it was talk of the town as to why SFV would never "touch" X1 at the time and how Sony helped "fund" it.

I doubt we would've gotten it so soon if that was the case. We still have other games out there that weren't "funded" by the big 3 and they still haven't been brought back or hopped to others platforms. There are games that were funded by publishers on PC that haven't funded said games to hop platforms in years. Take a look at EA with C&C.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

So you can't provide another contract, then you shouldn't ask us for one.

SFV is still console exclusive to Sony, that's the deal they made with Capcom, when the day it comes to Xbone you can maybe raise your hopes of seeing Bayo 2 on other platforms.

C&C is a RTS, a genre never big on console.

I just dont understand whats so hard to understand that Bayo 2 is a Nintendo funded title and therefore can only grace other platforms by their approval, this is basic, business 101 stuff man, almost kindergarten level.

The next PG/Sega to come is most likely Vanquish and Valkyria Azure Revolution.

Nintendo owns Bayonetta 2 but not the Bayonetta IP.

This.  It's likely Bayo 2 wont be hitting up on PC ever.

That's likely true.

@Bolded

Except I'm not the one who has anything to prove with SFV, because I'm not from the group of fans who spent weeks and months flaunting it's exclusivity around on here, if anything I'm playing off of their reasoning as to why it wouldn't touch the X1, which apparently was due to Sony "funding" it as Capcom couldn't "afford" to do it alone. I'd go ask those people first if I was you. I just want to see this binding contract that states bayo 2 is owned IP and all by Nintendo and that it's never to touch another platform till the end of time itself. If you're going to puyll the same argument again, as if it's to shut me up from asking, then I'm sorry but it will fail again, as I will ask you to talk to that other crowd who claimed Sony "funding" SFV, not me.

I don't see what's so hard to understand that it's only been 2 years and not say 8 years like the first game.

Vanquish is very much to be next. Not sure about Valkyria yet, as Sega have kept quiet about that since the first Steam release.

Also this thread is veering off course with this "bayo 2 isn't moving" talk, let's try to stay on track.

You have everything to prove, you need to prove the SFV contract you keep talking about, and the Bayo 2 contract that seemingly states Nintendo doesn't own it.

"I don't see what's so hard to understand that it's only been 2 years and not say 8 years like the first game."

Yeah because Sega magically forbade themselves to bring bayo 1 to other platforms all this time, oops they brought it to Wii U, breach of contract!

Except I don't, because I'm not from the group who spent weeks to months telling X1 gamers on here that SFV wouldn't be happening without Sony's money helping Capcom out. That's all I saw for reasons why it was never touching X1, so again you take it up with that group, I'm merely running off what they spent ages gabbing about.

Again this thread is veering off course, so I'll once again ask for things to go back on topic, to which said topic is not about "no bayo 2 isn't going anywhere".

Nintendo holds the rights to the game, it's the only reason it didn't touch other platforms. You dont need a contract to see that, all you need is common sense. Bayo 1 didn't have an expired contract that Sega bound itself to until now, it dont make no sense.

The only way Bayo 2 will ever get ports to other platforms is through Nintendo, period. Really it's that simple.
