Turkey and Philippines along with quite a few other countries seem to be well on their way towards authoritarian political systems aswell

No we are not, it would be great if you do not make assumptions when you do not live here.

Shit on our President all you want but I do not accept false narrative against my country. We maybe 3rd world but Democracy has never been more alive here.

The Philippines are authoritarian, I don't know how you could deny that. Of course, what many people fail to realize is that every country in the world is authoritarian.

If every country in the world is an authoritarian then there is no point in singling out any country when everyone is the same.

People can single out whichever country they want, if the criticisms are true and valid. Why would it bother you so much if people criticize the Filipino government anyways? Unless you work for them or are in cahoots with them, it shouldn't.

Because it's not true. When people who doesn't live here tells a narrative that is not base on our reality, of course I have the right to react because it affects the ordinary Filipinos more.

No I do not work for the government, I despise most of them but I would really appreciate it, if you guys don't jump to conclusions about my country.

Duterte is on record encouraging the killings of drug dealers. It's not just something that's not based on reality. It's seems that you have a problem with nationalism, and you take criticism of the regime as criticism of all Filipinos.

That's it? That's the only thing you can give me that automatically makes my country an authoritarian regime?

I think you need to research more on what's really happening over here before you give your final judgement and insult me.

The Philippines is a capitalist regime with a military and a police force, it's authoritarian. And how did I insult you? Oh yeah, I didn't.

You did by assuming the problem is with my nationalism without any idea what's really going on in this country.

Amazing how this happens in 2017.
