Implying it's a phenomenon suggests their is little to no explanation why its happening.  We know why it's happening.  And it's been happening much longer than 50 years.  One of America's first foreign wars was against Muslims who had kidnapped American sailors and made them slaves, demanding ransom.  Shortly after Islam was founded, they declared jihad on the surrounding Christian nations.  What's going to help Islam is not to ignore its problems as a phenomenon, and instead support moderates who agree there is a problem and it must be dealt with.

Having said that, it is a little early to declare who did this.

Islam is a great culture and religion. Don't need to mess it with terrorists. And yes, West supported terrorists with Saudis help. Chechnia was a great example of this.

Here, and this was the search result I came up with in less than 3 minutes. If you want more/country feel free to google it, as there are plenty more, or if you are lazy give me a random terrorist event and I will search it for you. Pretty much every major country last year in the west was mired in massive scale protests often directly against their way leaders handled certain sittuations (see germany, france and currently lets not forget the US). I hate it when people start demonizing a country just because reasons and mainstream media provoked hysteria.

Ok, so if I think its a bit suspicious that it happened just after a big demonstration, I am now deomnizing the entire country because of the media? This is why it will always be a one sided debate. Maybe stop attacking people who might have a different opinion than you? Again Im not saying that anything is set in stone, but Im not gonna just say "Hope the guy who did this goes to jail for a million years" and be done with it. Of course its a sad situation and I feel for the families of the victims, but stop saying I have some sort of agenda for thinking differently than you.

It is not the first time a terrorist attack happened in Russia tho, 5-10 years their was also an terrorist attack in the metro in Russia.

Maybe Chechnya extrimists? Been quite a bit of conflict between Russia and the region in the past 15-20 years, so I wouldn't be surprised.

You mean the Barbary Wars where we fought Barbary Pirates who were basically the Vikings of the Mediterranean Sea?

Of course not. But when muslims try to push the issue away and say "its not them", it isn't helping anyone. These terrorists ARE muslims. There is clearly an issue with some people and their interaction with the Quran, and it needs to be fixed.
