My first console was a Famicom when I was 8. Spends hundreds of hours playing Contra, Arkanoid, Battle Tank and Bomberman with my sister and dad. Those were the best games on that system. That was my first (and last) experience with Nintendo.

My big brother's best friend had an NES, back in 88. They played Mario/Duck Hunt all day, and occasionally let me have a turn. We spent the early 90's with a Genesis. I got an N64 for my birthday. At first I just played games like Goldeneye, and Turok. Then a friend insisted that I borrow both Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64. At first I thought they were kids games (even though I was a kid). I told him over and over that those were kids games, and that Turok 2 was better. Once I actually played them, I wound up having to eat my own words.

Back when I was 4 or 5, I played a version of Donkey Kong on the C64, can't remember if it was Atarisoft or Ocean though.
