Since it's April Fools I got to thinking about the best trolling or fake news that's been believed in gaming.  The IGN Zelda movie trailer comes to mind, but there's also a certain gaf thread that I once saw that still makes me laugh reading the responses http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=479298

oh the Xbox reveal.  Sony trolled MS by not revealing that they would support used games and offline until E3.  By then MS had taken the bait "why would they not say anything unless they were going to do it?  Let's do it guys!"

Also I remember a similar section in gameinformer where they had a Vita stick pro which was a third analogue stick on the Vita lol
