What direction do you think the new president will take Nintendo in? Do you think he will continue Iwata's direction? (I don't mind either direction myself).

I think they will continue in the portable direction with maybe a dock since they do want to do something different with each new system.
One thing they might do though is launch every device with zelda or a really high profile game at the very least.

Depends entirely on the success of the Switch... if it does well they will take the Switch route, if not, they won't. However, this thread was born 4-5yrs prematurely.
I assume this will be the direction going foward.Whatever they do new next, they will focus on versability, as in it will at least be a hybrid(plus whatever new they bring)
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

We can expect the Switch line to continue for at least another 2 gens.... or if SONY and MS decide to copy it.
They should just be focusing on the Switch
and decide how to move on from there depending on how well the Switch preforms

Too early, Switch is just realised, but I think they will cary on with one unified platform in any case.
I wouldn't mind another one like the Switch. Maybe with a little less emphasis on "gimmicks" though.
