Power armor does need to be repaired but that's because it's extremely powerful and needs a balancing point. Many players, like me, never use it at all. And why is the weight system "bs" when it's just a variation of inventory space? A superior one for games with a lot of items, in my opinion, as it allows you to go over your limit when necessary. |
So the weight system is like a limit to your inventory?

Yeah. Like, I have to decide if I'm going to carry a 20 pound Gauss rifle with me or just go with my standard guns. I can pick up several .5 pound fuses or I can grab a 3 pound container of oil. I can wear heavy armor or I can wear light armor that lets me loot a lot of items. It gives the player a lot of choices. Also, like most inventory systems can be upgraded, different gear, perks, and stat increases affect how much weight you can carry.
