Oh and Scorpio isn't the most powerful ever because it's not even a product right now 😂😂😂 it could be sure. But it ain't right now. If you want to apply future tense scenarios to the present though, then Scorpio was never the most powerful (I don't really care though, games are reaching a point in fidelity where visual gains are diminishing)

I think it is a good option to go with this. Keeping the console as open and accessible as possible is the wisest choice for a console that's already starting to pick its pace.

I have my doubts on this, it's clear the PS4 won't be caught in gen 8, I'm expecting Scorpio to be MS' gen 9 platform they'll won't say it now but I have a feeling after it launches we'll get an announcement at some point that Scorpion will get it's own library.

Scorpio was rumored and revealed before the Neo/Pro. It wasn't always called the Scorpio, that didn't really start until early early 2016, but the rumors were there. And of course the reveal was at E3, months before Sony revealed the Pro. Hope that helps.

Your mistake regarding who copied who is apparently you believe I think Sony copied MS. I am merely saying with the complete lack of logic behind saying Scorpio only exists because MS is copying Sony, you could just as easily say the opposite is true. Your comments about how silly it is, just proves my point. Console launches require years of work and millions upon millions of dolllars. You don't launch one just to respond to something that was actually revealed months after yours.

Scorpio is a product. It exists. We know it's coming in 2017 and is the most powerful console ever. The article you linked and made a thread around, confirms all of this. The difference in me saying it's the most powerful console ever and you saying it never was, is my post is based in reality on information we have. Yours is based on lollipops, farts, and make believe. Sure, one day another console will come and it will be more powerful than Scorpio. Who cares? It is irrelevant to what I said. Microsoft is taking their time with Scorpio and giving us a huge upgrade. Different than what Sony did with Pro. And the result is... the most powerful console ever :)

LOL no...the scorpio was not rumored first. When you're watching your competitors moves its easier to create a balanced response and hence the scorpio (which confuses me becuse they are supposed to be workinng on PC/Xbox stuff...but I digress). Microsoft can definitely outpace Sony in hardware an os, so thats the gun they are sticking to. All they had to announce at E3 was that the Scorpio had more TFLOPs after Sonys scorpios launch was coming around the corner and that was all she wrote. 

Think about this. If Microsoft was rumored before the pro, why isnt it out right now? Microsoft is very competitive when it comes to Sony. They know Sony is dominant so they either like to beat them to the punch or be right beside them when a trend starts. They did the same thing in buying a more powerful version of the eyetoy after seeing that Sony made the eyetoy and that Nintendo had knocked wii motion control out of the park. They are like the friend who follows and tries to best Sony at every turn. 

Um, since when are the things rumored/revealed earlier, the first to release? Shouldn't we be seeing Shenmue 3 from Sega or Crackdown 3 already then? Scorpio isn't out yet because unlike the Pro, it's a very large upgrade. They're also focusing more on 4K than Sony. And who knows, maybe they have some software to show at or before E3 to show why they are waiting. When you're not changing much, it doesn't take as much time as a very big hardware change.

Dude...estimate when you first heard about the scorpio. When was this? I will go and find the neo rumors. By the time Microsoft announced scorpio at E3 it was too late for Sony to turn back on the fixed specs they had already set up for the pro. Microsoft had already known the neo was at 4 t flops so they tried to beat them by two tflops. Thats all they had to reveal at E3 about it. Sony
