Great time to be on PC though

eh?

Is it great only because they are losing their exclusives?, wasn't it rgeat before they started losing theirs or something?.

Eh? Where is it even inferred that PC wasn't great in the past? Don't twist my words

LOL yeah that part was weird to me as well. PC has had for years bigger and better libraries and more powerful hardware. If it's a great time to be a PC gamer now, then it has been for years and years.

You're both trying to pull something from my statement that isn't even there.

He didn't want Xbox One owners to feel like their 4 year old console is let out? *cough* original Xbox *cough*

Mate I'm not even twisting them at all. I was simply pointing out that it was rather random to say "great to be on PC  though", when the topic is about the Scorpio, that and it's been a rgeat time to be a PC gamer for years, there hasn't been a specific point that was written in some book detailing when PC gaming was good/wasn't.

It's just rather random to include that in the end when the thread is about the console and not PC gaming. This also makes me wonder if you're going to include saying this for each time some PC related news comes out for say when something of Sony goes to PC.

No more news on high fidelity VR? Is that completely dropped now?

i think those will be VR games from PC, so it is not exclusives too

Rather random to point that out when I highlighted in my OP that all Xbox games are going to PC moving forward?

Trying to pull something from my statement that isn't even there.

The Scorpio is going to sell less than PS4 Pro wordwide, so I guess underwhelming sales are a given.

As for your main point, the problem with waiting a few years to go Scorpio only is that by then PS5 will be out and comfortably more powerful. And then they have the same problem as they do now.

Hey, you never know. PS4 pro is doing just fine, but not nearly as much as people thought before the Pro was revealed. I think you are overestimating how much the Pro is selling. If Scorpio is anything that is not "Xbox One Something", it will easily outsell the Pro, but thats just me.

The chances of the Scorpio outselling the Pro is pretty small.  The OG XBO itself is only relevant in a few countries, with PS pretty much becoming synonymous with console gaming WW, especially amoung core gamers.  Why would a more powerful XBO, with the exact same games (or lack thereof) as the XBO, do any better?  The Pro seems to be making up 10%-15% of sales, so even if the Scorpio made up 20% of XBO sales, the Pro would still be outselling it.

I have the same question.  Maybe because the PC VR headsets aren't doing so hot, they are going to skip out?  I thought they had plans to come out with their own headset.  Maybe that's cancelled, too.  Or it will work with the OG XBO.

Again that's you rolling with the twist that isn't there.

VR games will be console exclusive to only Scorpio.

So, games that take advantage of Scorpio's hardware also have to run on the One? Wouldn't that usher in a lot of issues in terms of performance? Unless the devs just want to make the original build on One and beef it up for Scorpio?. So the target consumer would ideally just want improved resolutions and FPS, much like what PS4 offers but on a higher scale. Interesting move. I'm however more interested in Windows 10 support.

What did you find strange about his "great time to be on PC though" comment?

Some people presumed that Scorpio would get its own exclusives that wouldn't be on XBO or PC. This topic was made to highlight a recent statement indicating that future developed MS titles will also be heading to PC. Thus the "great time to be on PC" comment.

Am I missing something?

That part was already described beforehand by someone else.

Also it's been known for some time that MS titles would be heading to PC as Phil has mentioned time and time again.
