I've been doing this once I got the MGS collection.  I'm already through MGS1.

I'm replaying them now, ivlim4. Just re-finished Twin Snakes last night. God, that game should've been so much more. I think I'm gonna play the PS1 MGS just to wash Twin Snakes out of my mouth.

 I don't have time, lol.  I have far too many other games to finish.

Though I'd love to do it. I may do it in May after the semester ends.

That's the only version of the first MGS I played.
Well I did play the psx version when I was a kid but I got stuck at the "Look behind the case for meryls codec number" part. >_>

Whats the difference between the two? Can anyone elaborate for me please. :)

the difference are on 2 points :

- GFX : clearly, Twinsnake (TS) is the winner here. It is really better than the original (GC >>> PSX)

- 3D Cutscene : the guys that created these cutscene are NOT Kojima and so they have made different cutscene compared to the PSX version. The differences are mainly based on Snake himself skill : u will see him making some special move like "walking on missile" that are "too much" (think about mission impossible II with Tom Cruise) and that dont fit with the original PSX game. At the end,

PSX game : Snake is hte ultimate mercenary
GC game : Snake is Neo from Matrix.

There are also some change in the voice. U cann watch all the 3D cutscene using youtube and compare the 2 versions by yourself. Usually, the firts u play, is the best ^^.

Before reading this thread, I was going to say something like: "As a central plot element? Definitely! As a character? Kojima is pretty crazy, so it's not impossible."

After reading all the spoilers and seeing that image, it looks pretty darn certain.

perhaps..but from early Mgs4 trailers and artwork they always show naomi in  black trench coat like attire...so i just figured it was her...
