Some Switch owners have encountered a problem where Switch won't read the game cartridge.
Seems to be a rare issue, but there's apparently a strage fix to it.

Poor connection between Card slot and mainboard via the ribbon connector, headphone jack is on the same board so all he's doing is getting the pc to flex and briefly make contact on the ribbon connector

Temporary fix indeed, best for me to just wait for these issues to get smoothed out :p

This is what I thought too.

Its just another bad hardware design issue.... jebus.

Hopefully Nintendo does a revison of the Switch soon, where the joy-con is fixed, and this Card Slot is improved too.

Wow, cartridge reading issues is so retro. Just blow in the cartridge .

My 8th gen collection

Good thing I'm waiting for December for my Switch then XD

The issue probably stems from all the people putting game cards in their mouths

Didn't watch the video but please tell me the solution is blowing on it.

I feel the faint tingling of rage just remembering.  I came close many times to just throwing my NES out the window.

Well, not really, my mom would have killed me, but I certainly thought about it.

Most frustrating console I ever owned, though.
