There are quite a few. They don't come along often though. Maybe I'm just not commiting enough and call every game that is above average the love of my life. Game quality is just a secondary criterium.

To get to the topic, TLOU is a really good game and probably the best game I played the year it came out. I'm also looking very much forward to TLOU2 which is an easy preorder for me. It's just no Rocket League.

Hah, I see. It's just from your posting style you come across as a person who is very difficult/borderline impossible to please.

I am not hard to please but I'm hard to impress. Sadly in this community not being completely hyped about a game equals hating it.

its a fantastic game alright. ND know their shit.

I played it in 2016 and was blown away by what they squeezed out of PS3, and surprisingly I really liked the gameplay and obviously the script and characters and story, but when I tried to replay it it felt so dull. It is strange, I have replayed a story game like Mafia (2002) countless times but I couldn't TLoU once.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

My gaming Mount Rushmore, is Gran Turismo, Mario 64, The Last Of Us, and now Horizan: Zero Dawn. These 4 games have clicked like nothing else I have played. There have been many really good games, but those four titles have marked a period of time for me.

I can not wait for The Last Of Us Part II. It has a lot to live up to. I am hoping they can pull a Terminator 2, and be one of the very few pieces of art/entertainment that sets the bar twice.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

I'd like to thank VGChartz for introducing me to The Last of Us back in Summer of 2013. I was coming on this website weekly for Video game sales (before I created this account). One day I noticed "The Last of Us" was the best selling game of the week. A week later it was STILL #1. So at this time I was getting curious what this game was all about and why it's so popular. I looked up some trailers and INSTANTLY I wanted it! I remember bringing my cousin (who's pretty much my brother) to EVERY place that sold video games. NONE OF THEM had The Last of Us. It was completely sold out everywhere. One time I went to the Mall by myself for whatever reason. Until I noticed a FRESH load of The Last of Us's on the shelves! I grabbed my wallet and ran into EB Games right away. I went up to cashier and asked "are those real?" she looked behind herself and laughed "yes just came in today" and I had glory in my hands at last!

Nintation tried to upload a picture of The Last of Us here, but failed. Instead just enjoy these bolded words.

Once I got home I played the HELL out of it! Im not into horror games, or story mode games AT ALL. But this drove me right into it! I wasn't even into mainstream games either, never played Bioshock, COD, or Assassin's Creed. I was 100% Nintendo since the PS2-Early Xbox 360  days (probably explains why my lack of skills of todays games. But I'm getting better). The Last of Us pretty much made me try out non-Nintendo games again.

I re-downloaded the Remastered version to check out the updated resolution but wow... I ended up deciding to play to whole game again. 720p 30fps on PS3. Now 1800p 60fps on PS4 Pro! (4K 30fps looked exactly the same as 1800p but just 30fps).

Once I beat this game again, I'll be sooooo ready for The Last of Us Part II. Since I have the Pro. I'll have the best experience ever!

The Last of Us is Playstation's Ocaina of Time!

First I loved the story and repeated it again. Then comes the MP which was amazing by the time I played it until it got "reworked" with all the news weapons and tactics that ruined it for me. Also one thing that ruined ND's MP experience is the way matchmaking works. This also happened to me with Uncharted 4 that I get frequently paired with noobs when I start getting "too" good. I hope they can fix this by allowing people to play with same skill people or just completely random.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

I disagree... since i didn't think it was anything awesome when it first came out, but i am interested in seeing what they do with part 2. Naughty dog makes very good cinematic games.
