Don't you think it's a little arrogant to dismiss a complaint like this as "trolling". Audio Sliders are an industry standard. You will find these options in 99% of games released in the past decade for a reason.

Don't bother. Not sticking to industry standards is what makes Nintendo so great. It really is my own fault for expecting something as outlandish as an audio slider from a Nintendo game.
How can there be flaws in Nintendo games if there are people declaring these flaws as not important.

Hey, I was looking for a brightness option. Looking at BotW is like looking directly into the sun! No option, though. Not on the console and not in the game.
Since there's little music outside of towns this isn't a problem, you can clearly hear everythig that's happening in your surroundings
