Try putting yourself on the trunk

I did, many times. Nothing happened. The green propellors make balloons appear to shoot, the red ones seem to do nothing. Maybe it only works at night?

Or when there is enough wind to move the propellor? maybe you can make it move with a leaf and then put yourself on top, I found a red one today and it worked, but the propellor was moving since there was a storm

My God, I'm going so incredibly slow with this game, I have like 70 hours of gameplay already but I have only completed one dungeon and found one memory lol

Yeah it was moving, and I tried a korok leaf on it too. That didn't make it spin any faster, yet I didn't check for any acorns appearing. There was no sound as with the green ones anyway. It could also be storm related ofcourse, will check again. I marked them on the map, love that feature.

Yes, me too, I use it a lot.

You have to get on top of the trunk, and something to hit with an arrow appears somewhere (usually a balloon, which is hard to miss, and other times some things that look like acorns, which are hard to see).

Ah, maybe the red ones are for acorns, I'll check that spot out again.

If it's one near Hyrule Castle, it's probably a single acorn "jumping" from 2 trees, over and over again. It's pretty hard to see those, so what I do is use Stasis. Whatever is shining with yellow, that's the answer

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Yes that should work. I always use magnesis to sniff out the trapped treasure chests. If it doesn't light up, give it a tap first :)

Btw are you always getting continuosly harassed by the Yiga clan? There's a couple archers that appear every day and sometimes a harder enemy with a windcleaver. I don't know if there's a way to stop that, they mostly appear while running around at night. That can get a bit hectic when you're in a fight, yiga clan appears, 3 skeletons and a bunch of blue slimes all at the same time, good times. And then that pesky swarm of bats swoops in! (Epic to fry the whole swarm at the same time though)

Yeah, they suddenly started appearing at random (instead of talking to them and then fighting). I guess if you beat the Yiga Boss this happens?

I still find the ones you can talk before attacking as well. Perhaps I need to pay that place another visit to stop an end to it. They never seem to run out of assassins. It was an acorn near Hyrule castle, I spotted it this time now I knew to look for an acorn.

Playing around with lightning since the frigging rain won't stop. Trying to figure out the safe distance to attack camps with lightning :)

Safe

Not safe

I wonder if hanging a metal object above a guardian will do the trick. Why aren't they getting hit by lightning anyway?

Trying to learn the timing for deflecting Guardian beams

Too late

Bingo. It takes 3 perfectly timed hits though, slightly too soon is deadly, slightly too late is a broken shield. Way too risky to be practical.

So long Hyrule castle, I'll be back.

So much nicer without the constant rain.

Pretty treacherous place these mountains but a beautiful scenery when the skies are clear.

[Footnote: I have the Warm Doublet but insist on wearing the Climbing top cause it's my favorite.]

My and a pal try to stay dry and wait out the storm.  Why is this umbrella not working?!

Yikes! Even with his HP low, I'm still this guys lunch if I don't dodge perfectly.
