As for OP. To each their own I guess. I personally don't see why one would pass up on a NEW console with different games and just get a slight upgrade on something, especially if they are planning on getting that new console sometime this year anyway. Makes more sense to get the new one now and upgrade later.

To me it's the opposite , He buys a console with a good sized library and plenty of new first quarter games, and he then picks up a switch that's matured over time with a bigger library and feature set.

Haven't watched the video but, when given the option in certain games, I'm constantly changing the resolution, frame rate, and HDR settings. It's not that dramatic.

Hope you enjoy it. I absolutely love my PS4 Pro + PSVR + XBR75Z9D combo. Horizan and Ratchet and Clank are easily the best 4K titles to date. Anything VR has been great on the Pro as well. Happy Gaming!

Pretty good choice imo. Switch isn't ready yet, it doesn't seem worth it to buy at launch, especially if you're a Wii U owner (like myself). There's a lot coming to PS4 and Switch this year. Can't wait.

Ok, still whether your buying A  PS4 or trading for a PRO ,when you weigh up reasons to which console should be bought first my reasons still hold true.
