And who do they have to blame for that idea? Themselves or the millions of customers saying "Can you release a Final Fantasy game? We have money to spend on it." It's like they don't understand the market half the time or something.

The series ain't ending. Even if SE "killed" it. Some other company would probably buy the name and make more or they'd keep remaking their previous entries or expand previous entries via spin-offs and such. FF will not go away

They need to lower budgets and development times 10 years for want we got is a joke it was a good game but it didnt need any more then 4-5 max especially with games like the Witcher and Skyrim being twice as big and dev time was half as long

No, I hope not. The only FF that has disappointed me has been FF13. This is a franchise that reinvents itself with every new entry so gameplay, lore, customization options, etc are always changing. We dont know if FF16 or 17 are gonna be turn based. If they are gonna go back to a very basic jrpg formula or if they are gonna try something new in the hopes it works. We simply dont know. And I like that. I like that we dont know what to expect from this franchise. And naturally, some games we like, some games we dont. Personally I consider FF12 a masterpiece, but a lot people dont like it, and thats fine. Thats how this franchise works.

I liked FF15. It was an underwhelming game for all the time they spent developing it, unpolished, and I wouldn't put it amongst my favorites, but I still like it, I still consider it a good game. And I hope there is a FF16.

Considering their first 'Final' Fantasy wasn't their final game, I don't think so.. :p
