No, I hope not. The only FF that has disappointed me has been FF13. This is a franchise that reinvents itself with every new entry so gameplay, lore, customization options, etc are always changing. We dont know if FF16 or 17 are gonna be turn based. If they are gonna go back to a very basic jrpg formula or if they are gonna try something new in the hopes it works. We simply dont know. And I like that. I like that we dont know what to expect from this franchise. And naturally, some games we like, some games we dont. Personally I consider FF12 a masterpiece, but a lot people dont like it, and thats fine. Thats how this franchise works.
I liked FF15. It was an underwhelming game for all the time they spent developing it, unpolished, and I wouldn't put it amongst my favorites, but I still like it, I still consider it a good game. And I hope there is a FF16.
