That would have been my immediate reaction if I'd stumbled over it.  That a gaming system from the far distance past would be an item that you'd sell rather than use is blindingly obvious and of no real relevance.  

This is the kind of thing you'd have to actually try to be offended over.  Fan who constantly cry about how the whole world picks on their favorite company are like a self-fulfilling prophecy--people end up disliking that company because those fans are so annoying.

Well IF this were a dig, it would probably be more about the issues between Square and Nintendo (carts vs cds) rather than sales.

Whether this is a dig or not I found it funny from that perspective.

Yeah, I had a similar idea a bit after I posted, a bit strange at this point since Squeenix and Nintendo seem to get along better, but it's only a harmless little easter egg kind of thing anyways
