I'll leave it at that.
Well, I'm single and have no children, so I don't need to worry about that! I still live with my parents though, so I'm not too sure that they'd be happy with me playing a pornographic game with my little sister around. Though I don't really play them anyway, so it's not too worrisome.

I can see where you're coming from because I've played Dark Souls, Hyperdimension Neptunia, and Persona 4 Golden with my daughter around. And normally it's not an issue, but sometimes I have to kindly ask my daughter to refrain from speaking because it makes it hard to concentrate. |
Exactly! Which sucks for dialogue heavy games like, what you said, Persona -for example

i can't play a professor layton game without every person asking if I'm some sort of prodigy or freak.
No, just because I enjoy intellectually challenging activities, that does not mean I am Einstein.

Considering the reason I never wanted it when it released was because it looked too girly I can totally believe that |
Looking too "girly" never bothered me. But that doesn't mean I'll buy a Barbie game, either (Although check out Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse on Netflix. Quite compelling to say the lease.) Most "guys" don't understand playing Neptunia.

lol, I don't get bothered by things like that. In fact, I have a Barbie game for the Wii and a High School Musical game for the PS2.
I've already played Senran Kagura in front of my mom once, it made her laugh more than anything (but we talk enough for her to understand that Japanese can produce weird stuff).
But yeah, overall I wouldn't play Senran Kagura, Akiba's Trip or Gal Gun around other people.
I usually don't like to play solo games around other people anyway, I like to focus on what I'm doing.

Those guys don't even understand what they're missing.
