Well it being on the GOP website, having an outdated presidential run logo, and not being mentioned by Trump on his Twitter makes me still sceptical. Your answers seemed to be soapbox, but I understand your sentiment. I am pretty moderate politically (at least I like to think so), but i am right leaning, so you and me have some differences.

I started reading this and I legitimately feel like a high school student is asking me these questions because they "are sick of drama".

is this really written by a group that has authority over one of the most powerful nations on the planet? is this really written by a group that proudly sports the name "Grand Old Party"? this has to be a joke. i refuse to believe that anything that happened in the past month has been real. it just cant be real. Our country can not really be run by these idiots

They weren't soapbox they were true. I don't live in USA so guns are not deities to me and can you seriously deny that only thousands of the second largest religion in the world are terrorists or that the number of Christian terrorists is greater than the number of muslim terrorists? Can you deny stats that you are more likely to die by a fridge falling on you then by "radical Islamic" terrorism in USA? Can you deny that guns are a bigger issue in USA then "radical Islamic" terrorism. And also in the world, the concept of left and right is completely different then in the world. You guys don't even differentiate between socialism and communism. Also many people have said to me that even the left in USA can be considered right-leaning in the scale of the world. And those trump jokes, they were just there to spite anyone who created that survey, whether Drumpf himself or not. I don't even think about leaning myself left or right as I don't think that everything can be solved by a simple label and an us vs them ideology

I agree, an us versus them mentality wont help things at all. But this isnt a thread for political argument. I made the false assumption that you were american so i was speaking in national terms. International politics certainly do vary, but I feel like you just are egging me on to vent. Im not really feeling getting into this so, you can have the last word if you like.

It's too bad that the mainstream media won't put out a poll like this as I think they could learn a heck of a lot. Unfortunately, disseminating propaganda generally doesn't involve caring about what the people actually want or what's best for them. Just think about this: if the mainstream media actually cared about your freedom then why do disable the comments section on pretty much any of their articles that have the potential to go against their left-wing narrative? Why does CNN have random "technical difficulties" any time one of their guests (even if it's Bernie Sanders) cracks a joke about CNN being fake news? The MSM can only survive in an environment where they completely control the narrative which is why their only safe-space is on archaic mediums like television and newspaper which allow for a single direction of communication. This is also why Facebook and Twitter are working so hard to censor alternative media, if the MSM had truth on its side, the elites who control social media wouldn't have to censor anything.

This is some fucked up, manipulative horseshit. This administration is looking for an excuse to enact policy to attack the media and the 1st Amendment in kind. Any government that attacks the freedom of press is incredibly dangerous.

Thank you. This is a really dangerous scenario and my fear is that this could lead to stronger efforts by the administration to curtail the free press and favor unreliable sources that support the President without question.
