I don't think it will work that way. People on this forum are commited gamers but the general population has a more casual approach to games. You can't really extrapolate data from the poll. I suspect being an old title, at a high price with limited performance it will sell poorly. People mainly buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games and exclusive games.

One thing helping Skyrim for Switch is the fact that there will not be a huge amount of games in the first year of the Switch's life. Less competition from other games means better sales numbers for Skyrim. |
However less games in the first year means less console sales so a smaller audience to sell to. On uk forums I've seen a large number of cancellations for Switch, people who were first excited for the console then came to realise there wasn't much apart from Zelda that they wanted that had been announced. Some have actually chosen to get a s/hand wii u instead of Switch. Console stock still widely available in UK for launch day. I'm not saying its the same in the US though but not expecting the UK to do good numbers. I noticed in Game that they haven't made much effort to promote Switch and likely it will end up at the back of the store soon if sales numbers are poor. However uk marketing has been very minimal, no superbowl equivilent advertising here. I think Nintendo are focusing more on the US perhaps because of greater disposable income.
