Pokemon Stars, Metroid Prime 4, and Monster Hunter XXX should keep the units moving through 2018. Plus, we've heard Madden and Battlefield are on the way from EA. Should be an interesting gen for Nintendo.

I'm one of the skeptics, still. And with so many details still eluding us a mere two weeks before launch, my skepticism seems well founded, this all seems poorly planned and the high number of pre-orders may well be a red herring when all is said and done.

I don't think it would destroy the competition, but it sure as hell would move a ton of Switch hardware. I mean, everyone has been waiting for a console Pokémon for years, especially an HD one. The last time we were able to play a Pokémon game on a television was on the GameBoy Player for the GC, so it's been a while.

That does sound a much more measured response, and even though it's a game which is not able to capture my interest, I'm aware there are plenty of fans who have been waiting for a 'console' version  for the longest time.

Sales wise I mean. I mean it would sell a lot. It woud sell like twinkies on a Ghostbusters convention.

Imagine that this twinkie is the sales of a normal game:

Now imagine a that Pokemon Stars sales will be like a twinkie thirty-five feet long weighing approximately six-hundred pounds.

I think you're getting a bit too excited, Switch getting a pokemon game (which is guaranteed) does not mean it will "destroy" the ps4 in sales. That ain't gonna happen.

I'm hoping the rumours about an SCD are true and on E3 Nintendo is gonna give us them flops we crave! They could easily release it for 199-249 Euro and make the docked Switch 4K capable and more powerful than the PS4Pro. That would be so sweet, my mind would be blown away by it!
