I couldn't see it being very popular, i think Final Fantasy warriors would be far more successful.

It will need a bit of marketing, sure.
I think, if they played to their audience that this type of game could sell.

No, that sounded like a horrid idea.
See Destiny is a IP that people would actually buy (I have nothing against Star Fox), just chuck in some blood and profanity; the Destiny fan base will call it mature.

Then tell me how your idea is ??

I am not saying the game would be great, hell it would be struggle to be good (at least in my eyes).

But good games are not always the best selling ones; with a good marketing campaign and violence Destiny Warriors could sell to both western and eastern audiences (Eastern to a much lesser extent).

Overwatch Warriors would be nice, they have more character than anything from Destiny could ever hope to ever have.

Does Destiny have melee, or will the guardians (?) have to punch their foes?

Destiny has various types of melee, it has I think 5 different swords,  an axe and things like knife throwing and shoulder charges as well as ground pounds.  Some of them are class exclusive.

I did not play much of the game.
It bored me half to tears.
