RJ_Sizzle said: Some people hate Sony because they came in and wrecked two incumbents with their debut console. Then, kind of just roosted there ever since. It didn't have to be this way, it's just that Sony's rivals had been making some of the grimmest errors of their existence that allowed them to muscle their way in. So, instead of everyone settling in and just playing video games, fans of the other consoles continued the fight. This has been happening in some form since 1995. I remember when people said they wanted to become professional game reviewers to bag on Sony games back in the day. Ahhh, the memories. Nintendo and Xbox fans may not be the best of friends, but there is an "anybody but Sony" alliance that's underlying between the two camps. It's funny, but the rivalries will always be there, like college football on a wide scale. |
My very existence proves you wrong. Sony and Nintendo both offer awesome Japanese experiences that don't exist on Xbox. I owned the OG Xbox and the 360 and enjoyed them both, but Gears and Halo just don't interest me anymore. Plus Xbox has no exclusive games anymore. Sad really.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!
