wow some horrible stories here
well, i went out and bought the game
at an EB and so far i've had fun

Attacking by righ-clicking on the mouse
feels a little primitive to me tho (imho)
guess i'm too used to consoles lol

Q:
how do u find groups?
everytime i try to talk to someone
they are either AI or ppl who
call me "n00bie" and walk away
:/

 How to find a group?

LFG MC PST! (you will get a hundred tells instantly if you are a priest)

No, seriously. Get into instance groups and you will make some friends...

PVP is unbalanced indeed, but i was a shaman so i had no problem with that :)

I would suggest getting it. Very fun game, and its not as hard to get unaddicted as some people say, at least not for me anyway. And it should work on your computer and yes it works for Vista.

PC Gamer

It will run on Vista, just don't get carried away, my best friend has logged over 1000 hours on it since he picked it up at laucnh all those years ago.

What class are you? I would recommend starting 3 or 4 and getting each of those to level 10 before you decide to choose your main.

I started with a Warlock as my main but had a Shaman and Hunter to try out also. I found the warlock to be sort of repetitive so at level 20 I stopped playing him and found the Shaman more enjoyable. So yea, try out a few classes, it's hard to tell how good they are until level 20-40, but even getting them to level 10 should give you a little idea

Don't buy it. It'll ruin your life.

I have been playing Wow for 2 years and still find enough free time to clock 30h+ on the PS3 per week.
And I can't really say I am casual, my guild raids 6 days/week.

It's really all about time management, there's no reason why playing Wow should mean spending all your time in Wow......

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Why the fuck would you want to pick up this game after seeing that Southpark episode? Unless you want to become like one of them, those figures aren't far from truth.

I've heard way too many horror stories about WoW and its addictiveness ruining people's lives.

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

If you have some semblance of self control you'll be fine.

Think wisely about what character you choose when you first play the game though. People usually stick to their first choice, and can sometimes be unhappy at a later stage because of it.

I have a lvl 70 character on the EU servers, so PM me if you have any problems installling the game or choosing your class. :)
