If you have some semblance of self control you'll be fine.
Think wisely about what character you choose when you first play the game though. People usually stick to their first choice, and can sometimes be unhappy at a later stage because of it.
I have a lvl 70 character on the EU servers, so PM me if you have any problems installling the game or choosing your class. :)
