I oppose representative democracy too in a favour of direct democracy, but I want attempting to defend Erdogan. You decided to bring up anarchists for some bizarre reason.

democracy in itself is a fragile system and direct democracy feels even more exploitable to me

Yes, obviously just switching to direct democracy without anything else changing would be disastrous. First of all, the workplace would have to become democratic (I.e. Socialist) before that could happen.

I oppose fake democracy (a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives).

Also, First Amendment protects the right to conduct a peaceful public assembly.

Additionally, you can't play devil's advocate here when Erdogan and his ministers are probably not covered by NL's constitution when it comes to rights like these.

It's not bizarre because Turkey was undermining NL's sovereignty .

Also, I believe that this move was premeditated to help Geert Wilders. Whom, have the same goal as Kremlin to topple EU.

All this talk about Turkey made me remember my days in school. I had a Turkish math professor that was a real badass.

Why would they even ask that? Dont they believe in free speech? I thought Netherlands was a democracy, or does it only apply to them and their friends. There have been rallies elsewhere in Europe and they happened without any problems, also many times in the past.

The military didn't support the coup, only a tiny fraction, which was controlled by Gulenists who have their own plans and agenda for the country.

You see now how 2-faced the West is. They can smile to you, shake hands, and then hit you in the back.

They did it with Gaddafy, who were accepted by the West. To Asad. Now trying to do the same to Erdogan.

Also I glad that our countries were smart enough to not let incident with Russian jet arise to a direct confrontation between Russia and Turkey. I hope our countries relations will improve.

I don't understand hunger for power - human life is short, in just a few decades he will be gone, why waste your short time when you can do pleasant things instead.

Sooo...when was the last time foreign diplomats went to Russia in order to organize rallies during a major russian election?

Stop asking Turkish about his opinions on the matter. It's wise for Turks to not to express displeasure with Erdogan's actions if they care about their safety.

I bet he used the netherlands rotterdam incident as leverage aswell. Sigh... i hate dictators and middle east is still fertile ground for them.

Books*

A large chunk of Israeli Jews are extremists and can be considered terrorists. A very recent law, legalizing theft, has been passed by the majority of the Israeli Parliment, they voted it in because their holy book says the lands they steal are theirs.

So America is now owned by Isreal...0.o

No... I was talking about this http://www.economist.com/news/middle-east-and-africa/21716563-high-court-may-yet-strike-it-down-israels-parliament-passes-controversial

America is run by lobbyists. Lobbyists are up for grabs for who pays more and god knows what else. Be it Israelis' or Saudis' money. Anyone can up their stakes in America and play a part in the American decision-making process.
